Dear Dr. James, our Angel and a truly heavenly STAFF!!

As I write this I watch my wife playing with our kids. I try hard to choke back tears.  I love them so much.  They all are every breath I take, every beat of my heart, beats there names.

But it wasn’t always like that.  Amber suffers from Advanced M.S., Spinal Fractures, Arthritis, Thyroid Disease, and other diseases including boughts with cancer.  This all left her in such agonizing intense pain.  Weakness so bad she hardly lift her head at times, and fatigue so bad she could barely stay awake for any long periods.  Such a horrible nightmare, we all suffered so much.  Doctors, including specialists all told us that there was no helping her and we should just be thankful she is alive, for now, and there was no way to improve her life.  As a wife and a mother this was mentally destroying her. She wanted so badly to be an active part of our lives.  So we would spend the days and nights in the bedroom around her hoping our love would give her strength to keep fighting.

Then we found our Angel, Dr. James.  (I don’t say this lightly as you’ll see why).  He heard this and wouldn’t accept it.  For months he worked trying this combination and that.  Listening and most of all caring with all his heart.  That made the difference.  Finally he found a combination that worked, not satisfied with just a little change, but a change that gave us our wife and mother back.  Yes she still has bad days, but the good days outnumber the bad.  We do so much together now and our kids play with her all the time.  The smiles and laughing as they play together, I choke back the tears because one man, one staff had the courage to care, to love.  To save a family, they all are heaven sent.  Remember God looks down and smiles a proud smile.  A father proud of his children, proud of Dr. James and Staff.

Dear Doctor & Staff,

I have been a patient of Pain Medicine Consultants since 4/18/01.

My primarey diagnosis is 'severe osteoarthritis' throughout my body and, in fact, I need a knee and shoulder replacement already and I am only 52!

Through all my pain, anger, frustration and depression of having this I can honesty Thank God I found Pain Medicine Consultants. The professionalism along with the respect and empathy I have received over the years is 'truly a blessing.'  I'm sure everyone can relate to the doctor who 'acts' like they are lisening and care, but also are thinking you are not completely genuine and are a 'drug seeker' or checking your chart to see if you have medical insurance!  At Pain Medicine you get the same treatment and respect, regardless of your financial status and if need be, if you are self pay, they will 'actuall' work with you, such as set up a payment plan for a procedure.  Also the concern is so evident making sure, if prescribed medication, it works for you!

I have had several epidural steroid injections that really do work, though each individual has a different reaction, it's, at least, a temporary relief and in most cases, a cure!  I referred my 83 year old father to Pain Medicine Consultants who had a diagnosis of sacroilitis.  He was in 'severe pain.'  He received a prescription for pain medication, an order for PT and an order for a steroid injection, which are usually done in a series of 3.  After complying with all of this, my father is "'pain free' and also 'med free'!

The staff follows through with all the doctor's orders right away on the first visit.  If you need a supportive brace, you get fitted and get it that same day, not having to run around looking for a medical supply store.  I also had PT ordered and again, right there in the same office, was evaluated the same day.  If an injection is ordered, a highly professional staff member explains the procedure and answers 'any' questions or concerns you might have.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Pain Medicine Consultants from the smiling and caring faces you see when you first walk in to the dedication and professionalism throughout the entire office.
